It's been....an interesting weekend...to say the least. Ok, quick updates!

Saturday:
- Hectic morning running around getting ready for convo. Rushed into the city with Ian to meet mum and arrived with only enough time to do a rush job on my makeup.
- Arrived and joined the massive crowd. Went into the robing room to get suited up in the heavy robe and waited FOREVER for the ceremony to start.
-Stood in line at the marble foyer which was so hot since all grads were packed like sardines in lines waiting to go into the hall. Feet died multiple times as we waited. Finally the doors opened.
- Hooted along with fellow FAS-ians as lecturers we recognized filed in. I think the marshalls were just about ready to mace us as we were so disruptive. Thank goodness the lecturers saw the humour and waved back.
-Actually stifled laughter at the ridiculous COLOURFUL robes the Council members and VIPs had to wear (e.g profs wore neon lime green with purple...how NOT to laugh you tell me?) and tried to remain solemn throughout ceremony.
- Got my scroll and walked off. Almost fell because the damned wood was so polished I could have figure skated easily.
-Joined the crowds which were so packed I could barely breathe!! Torrential rain caused everyone to get stuck inside so no one was moving. Tried to find mum and Ian but failed. I'm short...sue me! Almost fell down the stairs (couldn't see em') before finding them thanks to Jenn. LOVE YA BABE!!
-Finally left after photo-taking. Had buffet dinner to celebrate. During dinner, went to the bathroom and was surprised to see a setup, not unlike American Idol. Realized Astro Star Quest was doing the auditions at the hotel. Had to deal with posses of girls fighting for the mirror, discreetly of course, to do their makeup.
-Went again AFTER dinner and was surprised to see it still going on full-force. It was around 9-ish. Was in the loo when a girl began belting her song outside my door. GAWD!!!!
(In all fairness, she had a nice voice...)
-The rest was pretty mundane so...that's all for Saturday!!

Sunday:
- Woke up a little early cos dear Ian wanted McDs for breakfast. Clearly that didn't happen since we checked out late.
- Went to Jaya One Old Town White Coffee for brunch, then dropped mum off at Subang Airport. Subang Airport reminds me of Australia somewhat...IF it were spruced up. Dropped Ian off and went for lunch with BSim, Ade, Diane and Ms Saw.
- Drove Ade back to Setapak with BSim as company. Reminisce with Sim about the good times we had there. Decided to stay for dinner in Setapak.
- Asked Hunny out but she was at her bf's place in Ampang...BAH! Walked around Alpha Angle for a while and bought nuts. :p
- Had a fantastic tomyam sotong at Al-Amin and BSim had a lagi geng Thai Chicken Rice. YUMMY!!!! And so CHEAP!!!
I miss Setapak... *sniffles*

Monday:
- Work work work....LoLz!
- Went to BV2 (initially) to meet Shaz about Rock Up! BSim came along and we ended up at D'Lish.
D'Lish is super nice and it's 50% off EVERYTHING (except drinks) after 9!! YUM!
- Watched a mini drama unfold as a woman with a really fake accent gets mad because others were served before her...clearly the lady can't read because it clearly requests the customers line up. She stormed off, then stormed back and continued making noise. Finally she left.
GOD some people!!
- Tapau-ed my Peking Duck Wrap because it was too much to finish there. Went home and KO-ed almost immediately.

That's what happened the last few days.
