I've wanted a change in hairstyle for a long long LOOOOOONNGGG time...but never seemed to be able to settle on what exactly I wanted to do (or was brave enough to do...)

See....I've always been pretty anal with my hair, as evidence by the tantrums I threw once when a (well-meaning yet meddling) aunt decided that I looked better with short hair, ignored my request for a simple trim and CUT MY HAIR ALMOST TO MY CHIN!!
What the -!&$#$#$&!!!!!

Anyways, I barricaded myself in her toilet for a full three hours sobbing my heart out and I swore never to forgive her and to hate her every day of my life till I died. Melodramatic I know but it was MY HAIR!! I was finally persuded to come out when the aunt in question called my mum and begged her to come from work to calm me down (and get me out of the toilet since the whole house needed to use it!!).

I won't go into what I did at a hair salon once when the guy cut my hair short again...drama!! Anyways, the last time I took a risk with my hair...I still refer to it as the "disaster hair". Smart me decided I wanted to straighten my hair. After some persuading from a cousin who insisted I'd look great, I did it. Ignoring the flat hair I sported for a while, I went absolutely loco and dyed it red. As in maroonish-red. In my defense, it was meant to be DARK PURPLE! Curses!! So for a while, I looked like a goddamned idiot.

Since then, I've simply let my hair grow...allowing myself only to trim it.

Anyways, during the National Intergration campaign, we got RM50 vouchers to use at Esprit's Salon in The Pavillion. Initially, I shrugged it off and figured I wouldn't use it. But after rave reviews by Candy and Chew Lay (actually...more like brain washing...) LY and I decided to go. I fell in love with the place, the fantastic service and more importantly, I fell in love with what the stylist did to my hair.

I have curls.

Yupz! And they look HOT!! Or at least I like it. But they're blown curls and I've decided to make them permanent for a while cos I really really like it!!! Plus, it's about RM720 for treatment, perm, base colour AND highlights...and the uber best thing is...it's a buy-one-free-one!!!!! Meaning I'll only pay RM360 for all that if I share with a friend!!! WOOHOO!!!!

P/S: On another note, we've paid the deposit for the penthouse on the 17th floor...moving in Dec/Jan!! Soooo happy cos the view is GORGEOUS and its so BIG!!!
