When I was young, my mother came home one day from England carrying a book I wasn't really interested in. She had bought the book for my brother who was 10 at the time. I didn't really want to take a look because it looked rather thin (for me) and was a children's book!

In fact when I first deigned to read it, I was rather amused because the story was different from the summary on the back.

Mum had bought it because it was marked down on Christmas and she thought my brother would have liked it. I loved it when I read it and my brother marked it as his own. I'm glad you bought that first book mum...

And then...we waited eagerly for the second book and it came...better than the first making us crave more. By the time the third book was coming, it had developed a strong fan base. I must admit I was resentful because I hated wading through so many people to get to a book I loved. But later, I was just glad they loved it as much as I did.

And now, after all those years, its over. And it went out the way it should...

All I have to say here is, "Thank you mum....for picking up that book so many years ago. We appreciate it alot and we hope you'll read the set too!!" (And love it!!)
