Dealing With Stupid People
Part One

I cannot believe I am giving up my precious "sleep time" for this. But it has to come out or else I just might blow and it won't be pretty.

I have never realized just how shallow and how stupid some people can be.

Let's start with the Crisis lecture. We were assigned, by tutes, to come up with a crisis and then design a Crisis Plan. Anyways, that day I passed out on the table cos I was super unwell (I even fell down the stairs at Uni cos I was so dizzy...have a mini phobia with stairs now... *sigh*). But before I did, I sorta set the ball rolling for the crisis. When I came to, I was completely in the dark about what we had to do and since nobody seemed keen to educate me, I thought it had all been settled during that one meeting. Yeah...if you call delegating jobs with no base idea in mind as doing your work....all I can say is it's real stupid. *rollz eyes*

I mean, if you have no basic idea on how you wanna fix the problem, there is no freaking point in coming up with a freaking crisis plan no?? But nooo, they designed the stupidest crisis I've ever heard and the best thing is, within that crisis, they created so many holes big enough to cause the company to crash. Smart people really! One crisis not enough must create another three massive ones!

Anyways, I only figured out that my group had been assigned to do the Third Party Statement two days before the presentation. I was completely gobsmacked when I heard what the whole crisis was about and I was so confused cos we were all doing the crisis plan SEPARATELY. I mean, what proper PR team would do that??? Bloody stupid!

Anyways, the next day when I was outside the Reading Room with Jenn going over stuff whilst planning for UTAR Ball, this girl (J) comes up to me and stands in front of me as if I had made a mistake. The conversation went as bellow (at least what I remember...):

J : Did you know tomorrow we have to present for Crisis?
Me : Yeah
J : You all know right, that you have to present with slides?
Me : Uh...I think they know gua...
J : But what if everyone uses diff slides? Then it doesn't match then how? (arms crossed and staring at me. Like it's MY problem you guys didn't figure this out earlier)
Me : Well, you all still can choose one person, contact the grp leaders and get them to send their slides over. Then that person can synchronize the whole presentation lor.
(She stares at me for a while then stomps off)

Ok....what the hell did I do wrong?

Anyways, the next day it was obvious nothing had been done so the whole damned thing was a mess. When it came to my grp, the thing we came up with actually solved the whole damned problem, in other words what everyone else had done was redundant. In fact, the lecturer was "You all should have done this earlier! Then you wouldn't have to do this etc etc"

I think I am currently the most hated girl in my tute group.
Whatever.

If I made you look stupid, it's because you were stupid!

Ps: I found out that during that meeting, a lot of people gave up giving ideas cos a certain syiok-sendiri group refused to listen to anyone else. I hope you feel really stupid right now.
