::~A Tiny Piece of Heaven~::

Early (ok...maybe not that early) this morning when I was leaving the house, I decided to walk on the pathway out of the house instead of cutting through the piney-like trees like I always do (cos I decided to wear thongs/slippers today and I didn't wanna get em all wet from the dew).


As I walked down, I stopped and stared. The morning was a lil misty because of the rain the night before. The trees were covered in little jewel-like drops so they looked like fat Christmas trees covered in twinkling diamonds. Near the gate (which is white and looks like a cottage gate) a tree with long and almost bare branches stood, the drops of water frosted all over the tree. It was silent and cold...and for a moment it felt like a small part of heaven.

At that moment, it hit me that this was my last week here...


As much as I really want to go home, I know I'm gonna miss this place like crazy. I'm gonna miss drinking (rofl!), clubbing/pubbing with Chiew....I'm gonna miss the house and the people in it...cos as much as I complain (Chiew knows what I complain about...ahakz!!) I'll miss crazee/funny Peter, moody Max, Daniel, Patrick and even Cat...I will miss Sera too! Ahakzz!! I will miss Brisbane and walking to the City....going to Coles and Woolies (how cute is that? We have Parkson and Metrojaya...the have Coles and Woolies! Ahakz!)...going to Terry White's (pharmacist with fab discounts!)...taking the CityCat...the wonderful bus system....the Uni here with lecturers that know their stuff (duh!)...the clean clean clean air....I'll miss the entau/cute/drool-worthy guys loitering at every corner!!LOLZ!!

I'll really really really really miss Chiew too.....*sighs*
Hope she misses me! Though of course her "heart is so big" I own, like, a small percentage of it nia...bah! I'll miss the cool weather....I'll miss walking so much (yeah, surprising!)...


*giant sigh*


But I can't help feeling happy knowing that I'll be seeing my darling at the end of the week! Plus it's the RiverFire! Surprisingly I can't get excited about going to Sydney....too pleased to be going home I think! Ahakz!!
Hopefully the plans for whale-watching fall through!

Til then...back to work! Bah!
