Difficult times...

It's been a rather difficult time for me....this few weeks I have been battling some personal demons (some walking and living on our Earth)....and I've been worrying about my Industrial Placement...not to mention the fact that I've been hearing music and voices in my head...(ok that might be stretching the truth a lil....: P but you get my point) all culminating in an interview to Australia which I think I might have bombed (seriously...now that I think about it).

Now on top of all the Industrial Attachment worries...I have assignments to worry about cos frankly we have a crazy lecturer who simply CANNOT make up her MIND about what *toot*-ing format she wants us to *toot*-ing use!! Geez! I have been falling into this abyss of self-pity (dammit a lil self pity is ok!!) and finally I pull myself outta my funk to go see Xinch at Ikea before she goes back to Penang (lucky duck!!).

Jenn offered to drop me there since she had to pick up her lil bro. We got there around 12-ish and since I'm only meeting Xinch at 12.30...we decided to walk around The Curve. Got some great studs (Rm10 for 4!!) which I shared with Jenn. We made a brief foray into Watsons to get some stuff...but some stuff didn't look worth it to me, so in the end Jenn just bought her purple mascara (which looks really cool...wish I had gotten the black one!!) for Rm9.90!!
At that point, Xinch calls and tells me sumthin really funny...

Xinch : Jo...I'm going to be late. The *toot*-ing taxi driver!! I told him Ikea, Ikano and The Curve!! And he brought me to KL KTM!!!! I *knew* something was wrong when I saw the Kl Tower!!
Me : Uh...(stiffles laughter) This kinda thing *only* happens to you la dear...
Xinch : Sorry I really am going to be late...
Me : Nevermind. See ya when you get here!

I had a good laugh before Jenn pointed out a "Nail Station". Ran over and got these two colours (black & white) at Rm3.90 each! Yahoo!! Now I have Yin Yang nails! *grinz* Finally met Xinch at Ikea where she let loose a LOUD tirade right in the foyer of Ikea....I suppose she's absolutely justified! LOlz!

After a while, Jenn left and we went to the eat just so Xinch could blow off some steam. This was followed by a nice two-hour walk in Ikea where I got myself a cupboard organizer and a DVD-holder. Xinch got....a *lot* of stuff....but a small prob occured when I pointed out the "As Is" section.

For those of you who does not know what "As Is" is...it's the place where they sell the display items for lower prices.

There were lots of pillows and since Xinch needed one, she got a cheaper one from there...which was fine except that....with pillows you can see what you are getting. With quilts however...you have no idea cos it's wrapped up! So she decided to get the cheaper quilt....and guess what? She only found out...much later...that it was too small!! Aiyooo!!
Sorrie dearie!!
*kowtows apologetically*

I swear never to bring you to the "As Is" section again!!Lolz!

Came back and fell headlong into a depression...been listening to songs ever since...which is why I keep posting songs... : P

Oh well....The only thing I'm wishing for is to be able to watch a movie sometime next week...at the risk of sounding whiny....

I miss the CINEMAAAA!!!! : (
