Valentines....

Meant to post this before but..oh well...
Over the years, Valentine's Day has progressively become more and more commercialized. We see bloody roses sold at Rm30 a stalk!! A dinner for two on that night could easily cost RM300 pax! Whatever happened to LOVE is all we need?

Because isn't that what Valentine's Day is all about? LOVE?? And there comes the common misconception that Valentine's Day is only for you and your current flame. That's so not true! You could spend it with you parents (they LOVE you and don't tell me you don't LOVE them??)

Spent it with Ping, Joa, Xinch and Bee Sim at a mamak and we had a great time! Food was...can't believe I'm saying this about KL food...DELICIOUS!!! SCRUMPTIOUS!!!! *drool*
The Penne Butter Prawn was....heavenly! Not to mentioned the rich Baked Pasta!! I miss it already!! : D
Then, we went over to Bee Sim's place to just chat and chat and chat and frankly, I think this is THE way to spend Valentine's Day...not just with friends, but even with your current loved one. Just a simple night out at a mamak with absolutely drool-worthy food, stars above your head...then just talking the night away in each other's company.... I think I'd prefer that to a 4-star restaurant dinner where you'd have to be on your best behaviour and be so self-conscious about the way you eat... : P

But that's just me...hehehe!! Had a great time and.....
