Reunion....of friends

Just last night, we all (I think a staggering total of more than 30 friends) gathered together in a BBQ/steamboat restaurant at Nagore Road to have our own lil reunion...

I was a bit apprehensive at arriving early because I know from experience that this particular group of friends follow the concept of "Malaysian Time"... so it was very surprising to see at least 6 people already there!! I hadn't seen Michelle and Catherine for ages (I think about a year) so I was rather glad to see them there. As we chatted, we all decided to take our food upstairs because it was VERY stuffy downstairs! So up we trotted and settled ourselves at three long tables (well actually we fit into one table and the rest were empty cos,as usual, everyone else was late!!).

After a while, we figured it was silly to wait (in the time only two more people joined us) and so, they all trooped down the satirs to get food whilst Catherine and I stayed behind to take care of the multitude of handbags. As we chatted, a rowdy group of guys slowly filtered into the table next to us. Everyone came back and we had fun cooking the food. In the midst of it all, the "Tanjung Bungah Gang" aka Ping, Joa and Xinch, trailed in about ONE HOUR late (talk about breaking your record Ping!! LoL!!) and proceeded to fill in the last table.

Soon, dinner became a photo shoot as everyone clamoured to take photos with everyone else (will post em when I get em...that was a hint btw...*grinz*) and I suddenly realised sumthin.... As Xinch came over to take a few pics with me and the Tan sisters, I watched as a guy from the rowdy group lift his camera (NOT digital) and snap a photo of (I think) Xinch! Whoa!!

Was rather unsure of what to do so I pulled Xinch to the corner and pointed it out to her. As I turned my head, I saw another guy lift HIS (digital) camera and snap ANOTHER photo!! WTF??!!! She was NOT happy but there was no way she'd storm over and throw their cameras out the window...though I think she dearly wanted to do that!!
The next thing we knew, everyone was yelling, "Group Photo!!" and the whole group of guys just slipped away...not before stamping on the really filmsy boards so the whole second floor SHIVERED!! God!! If I could....I would've...*growls*

So, after the group pic, we (by we I mean Ping, Joa, Xinch, Pei Shan, Chiew Whoi, Chia Chia, Sin Way, Daphne, Val, Cheryl, Rachel Law and I cannot remember who else *blush*) headed to Coffee Bean Gurney Hotel!! Sat there for hours just chatting and sharing delicious cakes and drinks!!

Finally....it was time to leave....Ping nicely offered to drive me home and Joa, Cheryl and Xinch followed (not that they had any choice cos Ping was dropping them back! LoL!!) and I got home safely. As I walked into my room and unzipped my handbag...what should I see but dear ole Xinch's purse!! LOL~~

She called and called, but as I was sitting in front of the computer...I didn't hear a THING until she came online. Came over this morning to get her purse back (I was still sleeping and my phone did NOT ring Xinch!!) and I was lazy to walk down the stairs to give it to her so I dropped it out the window...no lar not the drain!!....right into her waiting arms! LoL!! After she left, dragged myself up to start work on my assignment....*sighs*

Anyways...better get back to it!! Hehehe!! Just for the record....

I'VE MISSED YOU GUYS!!! AND I DO NOW TOO!!
