I finally watched this film (yeah yeah I know it's been around for a while!) and I decided to cos quite a lot of people told me it was funny, sweet, hillarious...typical chick flick etc..
But the thing about chick flicks are that they're pretty entertaining....and really really sweet sometimes. This is fits right into that genre!
Kate Hudson is so sweet and Matt McConaughey (did I get that right? :S) is so so so so so sizzling hot it's pretty hard for them not to have chemistry. Loved the many hillarious things she did to him though, esp the Vegetarian thing and the "He thinks I'm fat" trick!
But as all chick flicks go, this one has a suitably sweet ending...though of course I have ONE complaint. Is it just me or does the ending make it out as him forgiving her? And as such, she's the one who made and extremely public apology? I think that is extremely unfair considering he had his fair share of being deceitful. Although in the end he really did love her, he never once apologized for his part in the whole fiasco. So even though she did make his last eight days a sort of living hell, he stuck it out not because he loved her but because he wanted the pitch so badly. Geez!!
That's my only complaint about this show. Other than that...it's a pretty good show!!
