Bananas and Papayas

Honestly, what do the Chinese Ed have against Bananas?? It's damned annoying to go up to a group of people chattering away in Mandarin and when you say, "Oh actually I'm not that good in Chinese.", they give you *the look* and go, "Oh...BANANA!"

Hello?? I may not be as good in Chinese THEN but guess what? My Chinese is now so much better. What's YOUR English like? Barely passable? Guessed as much.

See...we English Ed do not make an issue out of your inability to speak English. We don't call you...I dunno...Papayas cos you can't speak the International language. Plus, we actually make an effort to learn Mandarin. We don't see you making that same effort unless forced. So please stop name-slinging cos it really makes you look like baboons calling monkeys.

The point is? Don't judge us because we don't judge you. And frankly, we do not like made the brunt of jokes. I may not be able to retort as well as you in Chinese but I am not completely dumb so I KNOW you are saying stuff about me. *rollz eyes*
